Russ taught Caden how to fly fish. They both loved it and are excited to do it again.
Caden and Kylee were playing in the sand and water while we were camping. Here they are posing for a pic.
Russ helped Caden climb to the top of the rock climbing structure at the park. Caden was so pleased with himself and loved being with his Daddy.

We were able to join Colorado Families Supporting Adoption and march in a parade. Caden loved handing out candy, carrying the sign and letting people know how excited he is to be a big brother.
Kylee served a mission in Puerto Rico and developed a great love for the people, the culture, the food and the beautiful plants there. We found this hibiscus at the Denver Zoo and had to get a pic!
We love exploring the beautiful world that we live in. Here we are at Seven Falls this past Summer.
We also took time that day to go to Garden of the Gods. Caden and Kylee climbed in a big crack of a rock and LOVED it!
This is all of Russ' family this past summer, except for one brother that is serving a mission. He is the second oldest of 7 kids (6 boys and 1 girl). There are lots of little cousins that Caden loves to play with!
Russ' parents (Wapa and Mimi) with all their grandkids. Caden was the only boy until a few months ago.
We just love taking pictures of Caden!
Caden and Kylee read for 12 hours to win a free pass to Elitch Gardens from the library. We went as a family and had a GREAT time! Caden was excited the whole day (as you can see in this pic)!
We love playing in the water during the summer. We go to the pool, we have water fights in the back yard and we go to fun splash parks in the area. Caden was so excited to play in the water, he didn't care how he put on his goggles.
Birthdays are a big deal around our house. When Caden turned 4, we had a Chick Hicks cake and two parties (one for family and one for friends).
For April Fool's Day, Kylee likes to do a trick with the food. This past year, she made this dinner with ice cream and caramel sauce as mashed potatoes and gravy, airheads rolled up as peas and angel food cake as bread. The chicken was real. :) Caden's comment after trying the 'mashed potatoes' was: "These taste kind of like ice cream".
Kylee's family always went to the Oregon Coast growing up. We all got to go back there for a family reunion a few summers ago. Kylee missed the candy store, the pizza place, the toy store, the Haystack Rock, etc. It was so fun to see it again!
