We were not able to make it to the Families Supporting Adoption Conference this year, because we had a family reunion in Disney World (tons of pics to come). However, we heard from tons of people that it was amazing! We hope to be able to make it next year.
Our friend was reading a copy of the Church News (a small newspaper that comes out once a month from our church) and she read one article that summarized Julie B. Beck's (one of the key note speakers) talk from the conference. She was so excited and passed it on to us so that we could read it.

She spoke about how infertility/childlesness can be such a hard struggle. She then talked about how adoption can bless all those involved. We love how she points out that it blesses the birth parents too. We love how it blesses everyone, not just the adoptive couple. We have found comfort through the Savior as we have tried to add to our family. Our Heavenly Father loves us and blesses us (and the birth parents) when the time is right.
