Here is a summary from the book flap: In China, the moon shines on four baby girls fast asleep in an orphanage. Far away in North America, the sun rises over four homes as the people inside get ready to start a long, exciting journey. With tenderness and humor, this lyrical story tells how they are all brought together, and how they become four happy families on one very special day.
First of all, there were way too many words on the page to keep a child's interest. We liked that the author did a good job describing all the emotions and feelings that these four different couples had. This wasn't a very interesting book, even for us to read. We aren't doing international adoption for now, so I think many of the experiences don't necessarily apply directly to us.
